Direct Support Provided to Survivors Through Our Partner Agencies
The Survivor Support Fund provides real, tangible assistance to human trafficking survivors in Palm Beach County by meeting urgent needs that fall outside the scope of traditional funding. While HTCPB does not work directly with survivors, we partner with trusted local service providers who apply on behalf of the individuals they support. This ensures that survivors receive critical resources while remaining connected to the comprehensive care of their service agency.
The application for the Survivor Support Fund must be submitted by a service provider actively working with a survivor in Palm Beach County.
Examples of support funded in the past include:
Transportation to work or appointments
Relocation for family reunification
GED preparation and school supplies
Hygiene essentials and self-care items
Rent and emergency housing assistance
Cell phones for safety and stability
Therapeutic and wellness supplies
Tattoo rebranding to support recovery
Holiday gifts to restore dignity and joy
Laptops for education or employment
Bedding, clothing, and household necessities
Emergency supplies during crises
“Maura and I, along with the Palm Beach County Human Trafficking Task Force, graciously thank the Palm Beach County Human Trafficking Coalition for their ongoing support and partnership in the mission to serve and support the survivors of this heinous crime. Support does not always look the same for the individuals that we serve and the items that have been donated ensure that we are able to meet the very specific and individualized needs of each and every survivor! Thank you for being an important part of the team and helping to create positive impacts in our community!”
